Went for a walk tonight with the dog and smoked a fine cigar. About 3 inches of snow on the ground and freezing rain is beginning to fall. Temperature dropping through 25 degrees. Snowplows with salt spreaders are working the neighborhood. Back inside enjoying a Calvados, I remember why I love going South in the winter. June trips are nice, but winter trips are a reprieve.
Andy, get that rhum vanille ready for Sunday night . . . .

Mon ami,
Congratulation on #5,000. I was telling folks at Le Select tonight how much the Forum has meant to me in forming new friendships and none more special than the one I share with you. I look forward to seeing you and your lovely wife and meeting your daughter. Have a safe trip down.

sorry...couldlnt resist....a foot to a foot and a half tonight through tomorrow and Wendi isnt even thinking about not going to the airport in the morning.....its all what you're used to

Mike we are having a big storm today tonight and tomorrow. I think that she might make it thru though. What time does she pass thru here? Tomorrow? Early I hope. Its a big hub and they'll plow the runways all night.
You gonna drive her in that ford fairmont I saw?
GIve her my number in case she gets stuck. there is about a foot o the ground and its still coming, but usually the airport gets less.
Me? I'd go for it. If she gets out of Co then she'll be ok.

cool Jack....if all goes well she will be in CLE around 2 ish......from there New Hampshire could be a problem...in 7 years of doing this 6 times a year this is the first time there is a storm in all three points..from origin to the end.....better her then me...LOL....

Tonight
Snow...with areas of blowing and drifting snow. Snow may be heavy at times. Additional snow accumulation of 6 to 12 inches. Blustery and cold with lows around 15. Northeast winds 20 to 25 mph. Gusts up to 40 mph this evening. Chance of snow near 100 percent.
Wednesday
Cloudy. Snow showers in the morning...then a chance of snow showers in the afternoon. Areas of blowing snow. Additional snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches. Highs around 20. North winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Chance of snow 80 percent.
