Mike, Only a few days left for you, Wendi, and Leena to leave the state before being descended upon by the Southern Plague. You still have time to make a graceful exit: "I had to go to the Mayo Clinic to get my penile implant adjusted--it was just too damn big." or something like that will work.
(They look pretty good in the mountains, too.) We are really looking forward to a much-needed break. And, we are more than familiar with the concept of being visited in a vacation setting while trying to get work done--as you and Wendi will be doing. Believe me, we will have a blast regardless, but we really do hope you all can spend some of your precious time with us and enjoy some laughs together.

very funny eddie..
Roy..I have three games that week.... one away in Denver, the day you all arrive, one at home on Friday that you are more then welcomed to attend, and one on Monday in the Pepsi Center right before the Nuggets play whch you are also more then welcomed to attend - on me ( I have a bunch of floor seats for the Nuggets game and I do have extras )....but being on vacation I totally understand if you have better things to do with the girls....
right now we are all set for dinner Saturday night at the Boatyard ( a great local joint in Frisco ) with you guys and then I can join you all for a few runs Sunday morning at Keystone...the weather has been unbelievable..we have literally not seen a cloud in a week and its been in the 40's...but we can use some snow to freshen up the mountains....we are suppose to get into a snowy pattern mid week...and a drought in January is really pretty typical....
also Wendi and Lena will be leaving to go east the same day you all do....so maybe she can hitch a ride if you have room ??
see you soon!!!

Sounds good, Mike. I'm surprised you have any time at all. The Fri game sounds like something I'd like to see, convincing the girls may be another story. I'd love to see you and your guys in action. Driving back to Denver, even to see the Nuggets, is not in my vacation plans, however; though we do really appreciate the invite. We will definitely squeeze the girls in for the trip back to DEN. We're looking forward...

sounds good Roy....the high school is only about 10 minutes from where you are staying so it will be a snap getting there and back.... the way things are going right now its shaping up to be a good game with serious playoff seeding implications... and it is senior night as well....

directions from airport...
take the access road to Rt 70 West
stay on Rt 70 for 80 miles
get off @ exit 203 Frisco/Breckenridge
at the exit will be a small rotary (roundabout) ..in the middle of the rotary is a beautiful bronze Elk..with a lit red clown nose on its nose ( only in Summit County!!!!)...anyway go over the highway and that will be Rt 9
Stay on Rt 9 for about 15-20 minutes... you will pass the hospital ( on your right ), the lake ( on your left ) and the high school ( on your right ) on your way to Breck...it goes right through Main Street in Breck...there is a roundabout by pass route, but its best to stay straight....
to get where you are staying will be this....
last light on Main Street ( at Main Street Station plaza ) and at S Park Avenue, make a right. It will be obvious to you that you are at the end of Main Street, plus there are only two lights on Main Steet and this is the second one....when you make that right, about 50 yards up the road will be a fork..bear left ( Village Road )..where you are staying will be on the left, and you will see it pretty quick

Thanks, Mike. We'll see you in a very few days. Snow is coming--it always seems to when we go skiing.

They had already had 8 inches in Beaver Creek early this morning. Wife called from there wanting to know how to put the Jeep into 4WD. She was taking a friend to the airport. She called when she got back and said the roads, including I-70, were pretty treacherous, but she made it. They really needed the snow. She skied the last three days and said it was really beginning to get crusty.

yeah..I dont know about treacherous though....I've been down the hill and back this morning already and its pretty typical for a heavy snow day.....life goes on....January droughts are pretty normal around here....February March and April are the big snow months....we have a game in Denver tonight and it will go on......it will be a long tough ride back up here but...thats the way it goes
