ever...
we were supposed to meet CarolH and her daughter and grandchildren in Breckenridge at our favorite little funky dinner place called Rasta Pasta...spicey Caribbean spiced pasta dishes....well..Carol hit a ton of traffic coming up from the airport....ski traffic and rush hour traffic...and being with the little one we eventually had to eat....so just as we were leaving, Carol called and said she was finally in town and coming to the restaurant...parking in Breck is a nightmare on a good day....forget about a Friday night in season....but I know some great places where you can park close by, that most tourists dont know, and I wanted to show Carol where it was....so I stood out in the street on my cell phone and talked her into the area til she saw me in the street, they pulled over and I jumped in their car....the grandkids and her daughter must have thought both Carol and I were nuts...( I can just hear it now....You mean you ve never MET this guy before and he is just going to jump into our car???) ....anyway I guided them into the parking area....she parked next to our car and we had to leave because Lena was very tired, it was past her bedtime....sooooooo we all exchanged pleasantries for a few quick minutes in the parking lot, and off we went to home and off they went to eat....
without a doubt...the fastest SBHOnline get together ever.....LOL
only in here can something like this occur..LMAO
Carol ...it was great....all 5 minutes of it...I wish I didnt have a game tomorrow night in Denver so we could spend a little more time with you all...you all certainly seemed very nice....the kids sure did have a sense of humor about some strange man jumping in the car with them.......but....life goes on...hope you have a great weekend and the grandkids learn to ski and enjoy it

LOL!!!! Ahhhh, yes, Mike.....exactly what daughter, Shannon, said about the 'stranger' we were about to meet! Not an axe murderer at all, that guy standing out in the cold (not 40 degrees in the evening) to show us where to find parking lol. You, Wendi and Lena were so kind and patient to stay in the Village for us to finally arrive. Hannah was so disappointed that you had to leave, she wanted to spend time with Lena.Thank you so much for your help in planning this trip...the girls did great at ski school. We loved your perfect restaurant suggestions. Hope to bring the girls back...by then they will be skiing with Lena.Haaaa, actually Shannon's comments reminded me of Ron when he learned we were going to our first SBHOnline party in St. Barths! "Let me get this right...we are going to a party with all people we have never met?"Thank you! Carol
