<<<in a nut shell...think DC3 >>

Hell, Porsche evolved the 911 while Jag killed the XKE...
The DC-3 is still great at what it does...er, did.

I have a deep appreciation for the way some of our threads morph and have been, at times, one of the morphers, but I fear it drives others nuts.

Hey, tim?
You know what we say in NYC if they can't take a joke?

A few years ago we flew this lovely bird http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=0249618 from Helsinki to Tallinn for a daytrip. It was a very pleasant flight, I've had much worse in bigger planes. This particular bird has a sphere-shaped window so you can actually look outside (e.g. http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=0617431 and http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=0413318 shows the window). The plane is being flown by retired commercial pilots.

Hmmm, I think we'll need to plan a new trip for next summer.
