Does anyone know if the villas are too windy for a February or April vacation? I once read that the potted palms ended up in the pool. Has anyone stayed here during these months? What is it like?

I stayed at Haute Maison in April and it was fine. When we arrived it was windy, but not overpowering, and it kept the mosquitoes away. They the wind died down and we did have a few mosquitoes and I was wishing for the wind to return. It was definitely not a problem.

Like most places on earth the weather can vary from year to year. If you like the looks and price of the villa, go and enjoy what you experience. Even a bad day (wind/rain/clouds) is better than a day from whence you come.

We just got back from staying at Kercliff for the first two weeks in July. I know it's not the months you were looking for, but I can highly recommend Kercliff and the location. Yes it does have more breeze and once in a while wind, but with the island being very green this year and the mosquitos that come with that lush green, I welcomed the breeze. It is a constant breeze on that end of the island no matter where you stay, but we liked it. We did have a night or two of heavier winds along with a strong storm or two, but that's to be expected.
