Isle de France has been much discussed on this site. We stayed there for our first trip to SBH this last June. Plainly stated, Isle de France is a knockout.
Even though Isle de France is a knockout, it weaves this magic in a subtle and understated way. It has a casual elegance and a romantic intimacy that a larger place would not have. But it is large enough to have a fabulous restaurant, great service people and beautiful accomadations. Plus, Flamands is all but a private beach. As an added bonus, you walk to La Langouste down the beach one night for your lobster dinner.
Your choice of Isle de France is a very, very good one. I can't imagine that you will be anything but WOWED by the place.
As I have a tendancy to get a bit "enthusiastic" on SBH in general and Isle de France in particular, if you would like details on Isle de France please send me a private message and I will answer any questions you have.
Bon voyage!
