What restaurant would you pick on St. Barts for an anniversary dinner? My wife and I have been to the island before but usually frequent the most casual restaurants. We will be celebrating our 10th anniversary on the island (end of November) and I would like to makes plans for the perfect evening.

We would highly recommend Francois Plantation for a special evening. It has a beautiful dining room and truly memorable food.

If open I would highly recommend Eden Top. Best food ever on the Island, most phenomenol selection of wines by the glass (Including Cristal at $30 for a jumbo 6-7 oz. glass), and phenomenol service (always there but never overbearing).great view of a lit up reef. We had a great anniversary dinner there last year and loved it!! Le Gaiac has great food but service has been spotty and night view is nothing to speak of. Have fun!!

We have spent our honeymoon and the next five wedding anniversary's, which just happens to be Valentine's Day, on St. Barth. Tried different places each year and found that we perfer La Case de L'Isle at the Isle de France Hotel to be our favorite. Request a table overlooking the water.

Our last four anniversary dinners were at Gaiac, Eden Rock, La Case de L'Isle, and Francois Plantation. Francois was the most elegant, but as the earlier post mentioned, a table for two overlooking the water at Eden Rock is hard to beat. The sound and sight of the water combined with the constant trade winds makes Eden Rock, in my opinion, the most romantic. Oh, I forgot to mention the food and wine are primo. A suggestion....La Case de L'Isle for lunch, and Eden Rock for dinner. Happy Anniversary.

Hi Richard, the Eden Rock would be a perfect choice for dinner. But why not top it off with a little something special. Call Larry at Air Mango when you get to SBH and have him put on a fireworks show for you while you are having dinner. He might even be able to spell out "Happy B'day" Nick
