It has become my habit that when I arrive at work, or on occasion, when I can't sleep (like tonight) I come right to SBH Journal.
We are leaving Friday night for a 2 1/2 week trip to Provence and I am already thinking about the withdrawl I'll feel not visiting the Journal daily. Oh well, more to catch up on upon our return.
We fly to CDG and take the TGV to Avignon(barring another general strike Saturday) where we pick up our car to drive to our rented house in Saignon, just east of Apt in the Vaucluse. I've done a year of research and am pretty set as far as where to go, what to do, what to buy/eat/drink. But any first hand restaurant reviews and recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks posters...

I recommend the restaurant Hiely-Lucullus, 5 Rue de la Republique, Avignon. We ate there with our close friends on our first night in Provence in 1995, and the memory still lingers. I'm told that the quality and value have remained excellent. Any St. Barts fan will love Provence.
