Mike, I am VERY jealous you got to see bob.
I've seen the Wailers many times, but you know...it's not the same.
I tend to like small shows better than big concerts.
I hit the first 3 lolapaloozas (as was about 18 at the time), and there were some good acts...but always remember the smaller more intimate shows

Easy. I only count one. Jimmy Buffett, Concert on the Quai, Gustavia, November 1999, one of the highlights of the Le Select Jubilee.

trust me on two counts Karibien...I have had more insane weekends then I have deserved to experience in my life.......and that weekend has rightly earned its place as the benchmark......no details...just trust me..LOL

that remains the biggest regret for Wendi and I..we knew about it way in advance...and put off making plans for it, thinking..how big can it be??....and by the time we got around to plannning it..everything was booked....flights...rooms.... everything....

-Dylan in a little theatre in Montreal in 1978 (Leonard Cohen just sitting in the audience) Seen him many times since- this was the best
-Al Kooper in a little club around '69
Jim Queskin's Jug band, in a little club in Ottawa in 1967 (Maria Muldar singing)Met her at the Ottawa Blues fest a couple of years ago, and she remembered the week of shows in '67
-Lucinda Williams in a little club (wow!)
-Every time we've seen Jimmy(and we often drive pretty far to see him)
-Charles Aznevour at the National Arts Centre
-The Who in a small theatre in 1967

If you look out the window and see something green flickering in the eastern sky. It's not the northern lights. It's me. Green with envy...

Must add to all of the wonderful music above Grace Jones/Island Life. HOT. If you like techno Nikki Beach's Luxury Collection 1 is a good mix.

Now you're toying with me Karibien - you have brought up the subject of Northern Lights.

I'm wondering if I should fly to Iceland for a weekend (easily possible from Boston) to see the Northerm Lights, or fly to SBN for a few days in June. I'm thinking SBH.
