Oh, if the Four Seasons are fair game, then perhaps you guys (and gals) can settle That Burning Question from the eighties:
Who was better - Debbie Gibson or Tiffany?
1, 2, 3....
(LOL)

because bull**** isn't a cussword in swedish.
IV, did you hear a swede swear? Now, or in the 70's? Lots of american bs...
Not to mention the swedish song, released 1989 and on repeat at cd's at radiostations. För fet för ett f*ck. Translation: Too fat for a f*ck. Reportedly the most played song on the radio that year, and most sold single.
I didn't like the song. But I like that we could broadcast it.

And just to try to repent and get this thread back on topic - I wouldn't bring that particular tune with me on the Island. I'll look into some of the tips given here though, thanks everybody

Thanks Lauren, I've been to the site often...in fact months in advance as they announced that the new album would be ready in September. I've spoken to the guys in the band and they say in stores by late feb, itunes by mid-march. I do have the option of sending them a check and they'll send me a cd back...but I'm too lazy for all of that :) I'll just wait until I can download it or fill in a quick web form somewhere

Miker: Debby always had that "Too Nice To Be Naughty" thing going which has a certain appeal. Tiffany was a Mall Rat. Given that we did not have a mall in my town, I couldn't relate.

Didn't like either until they appeared in Playboy.
"Anarchy in the UK" is now on the radio. Sex Pistols: couldn't play worth a lick, but had something to say. Proof that good Rock isn't always about musicianship, it's about attitude.

Here is a freaky stat:
At one time Back In The Day, ABBA constituted 5% of the gross domestic product of Sweden. I would have thought all the little yodling clocks would have made more money than that.
Never mind the movies.

you know what, instead of just talking about music...I've decided to provide some music, something I think this thread was missing.
For people who used to listen to bands like Joy Division/New Order/Depeche Mode (who my wife and I just saw AGAIN recently) I offer "TV Eyes - She's a Study"..I heard this song on a snowboarding video called 'White Balance' and it immediately stuck in my head
and as far as SOJA goes, here are a few of their songs
