Hi to all,
Curious is anyone has ever stayed seaside on Little Thatch Island off Tortola. Lu & I are involved in a wedding next spring on Tortola and it looks very intriguing. http://littlethatchisland.com/
Thanks.

I guess I'm trying to answer my own question, but here's another site for Little Thatch Island on Wimco. Several people have private emailed me with questions, so here's some of the answers.

Rick: They also have those villas/houses for sale on another site I have seen. It does look intriguing, particularly if one has a boat at the ready. For folks who like to get out and about, it might be inconvenient but a little Robinson Crusoe might be fun anyway.

Kinda what I'm thinking...fish for your food on the beach all day.

You'll need some rhum if you are going to Go Native like that.
Sounds great!

The wine, crown and some food will be delivered the morning of the day we arrive. 1 net, 2 traps and some fishing gear too! Back to the Basics...we've decided not to use any of the electronics at the house, not even the AC. I'll keep you posted on whether we make it or not.
Picture this...we're hungry, its dark and I'm still fishing. I've pictured it bunches of times, and there's no car nor anywhere to go. I have arranged a couple of jet skis and a boat rental for the week. Looking forward to it.

needless to say....you are describing heaven here and have me drooling....listen there are certain lures out there which are universally good for any kind of fish and really increase your odds of catching something edible....any chrome Kastmaster or Crocodile works for everything.....Swedish pimples too......and if all else fails......throw a stick of dynamite in the water and start scooping....LOL
enjoy Ric....it sounds fantastic...knowing you the way I do I know you will have a blast with it

The nice thing about having a lot of Crown is that if you get too hungry, you just drink the Crown until you "go to sleep". There's a reason that Caribbean Rhummies are skinny. Crown by itself will not make one fat.
Bonne chance!

The caretaker does have a shotgun, so if all else fails I can shoot the fish, or take the boat to Tortola to the market (accompanied by Crown). Ric
