Unfortantly, I am not a programming wiz and set the site up without this great feature initially. It should be working now but anyone who registered before I changed the setting will have to change the mode either by clicking on "Flat" in the menu bar above the posts each time or by changing their personal default setting by logging in, going into "My Home" and edit Display Preference (choose Flat rather than threaded) and hit "submit".
