Creole Beach and Auberge de la Vielle

My wife and I are going to Guadeloupe and will be staying at the Creole Beach Hotel and the Auberge de la Vielle Tour. Reviews od these hotels are appeciated.

I liked Creole Beach. It doesn't look to impressive from the outside - you see a parking lot and a security gate. Once inside though the grounds are very pleasant, pool is nice, the buffets are very good and the rooms are decent. Almost all French clientele - don't expect a whole lot of English to be spoken. Beaches are nice but very small - hint - you can walk from their beach to the grounds of other hotels' beaches, if space is tight - just turn left (facing the water). I think that this place has a better location than Vieille Tour and is a better value.
