Has anyone had any experience with Hotel 60 at 60 Thompson in NYC? Any personal information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Rick

I've had friends stay here and it gets good marks. Very modern and art deco. The SoHo location is ideal and the service get rave reviews. The smaller rooms are a little on the small size though so you might want to consider upgrading to a larger room.

This is for a shopping trip for my wife and daughters, and was found by my daughters. Looks good, but I needed a better perspective. Thanks. Rick

Ric -
This is a hotel I have been seriously interested in trying. They have a members only rooftop bar that guests of the hotel are permitted to use (it is open in the warmer months).
We usually stay at the W Tuscany in Murray Hill. Super convenient to Grand Central (and the oysters) and the rooms are quite large for NYC (typical W decor -- and it now features Bliss products which is a outrageously nice (and expensive spa) in NY (In fact, a new Bliss Sap opened up in the Lexington W)). For the Tuscany, I recommend a room in the back, higher floor and away from the lift (an 05 or 07).

Hi Gayle, but you know my family is small. The girls are getting a suite which I toured late last week. But you are right, the other rooms are really tiny. THE PH was incredible and had a big garden. Other Jr.PH's are quite nice with great views of Soho. Walk in the room and fall into bed in most of them however. I will update everyone in about 3-4 weeks. Ric

Does that mean they're short, thin or there are just a few of you;-).
Do tell...I'll wait to hear. Suite and PH sound great and I love the location. We're off the NY next Friday for Michael's bday. Got a great deal on The Lowell on LuxuryLink.

About 5'4" average and 105 pounds average soaking wet. Only a few of us. Lu says their weight for their height is on the low side of the chart, but it sure is too damn easy to fit them in clothes...everything fits. And they switch around clothes all the time. Stop making that size please, particularly in Italy, GB, France and Germany, and the emerging Brazilian fashion market where I've seen a few charges recently. I think they are all wearing my retirement! Ric
PS~When in SB and Lu says 'lets go see Marinette at Cavali', I cringe and cancel all dinner reservations and go by Match! I think sometimes Roberto designs with Lu in mind.
