Mikey ! You're making me laugh !!!! Same thing happened to us at Orient. In one of the shops, I was the only one with clothes on. When Roger and I left, I said to him, "Can you imagine being a waiter in the diningroom and spilling hot soup on someone's lap? Or a woman reaching over for a bread roll from the basket and her boob plops into her soup ?" Oh well, to each their own. I'll reserve my nakedness to a private pool or when I next decide I want to sing the theme song from Titinic !
Sorry about your unfortunate incident in Grand Case. It only takes one person to ruin an evening and you had the misfortune to meet that person.

I don't know what I was thinking - trying to do too many things at the same time. The restaurant in Marigot by the harbor I was referring to is not Marie's (that was the name of the bartender at the bar downstairs from the dining room). the restaurant I was referring to was, I believe, Le vie en Rose?? does that ring a bell take care georgedp

I am very much of the opinion "to each his own". As such, I am glad they have Club Nekkid on Orient Beach where folks can run around the place starkers. Probably will never make it there myself, but good for everyone who enjoys it.
Even so, I imagine that it does lead to rather interesting conversations in the grocery store. Excuse me sir, do these melons look ripe to you? Is that lean beef? Are you sure you dont need to buy some suntan lotion - or maybe some aloe? They're on special.

BTW: The hit count for this thread was about 6600 or so this morning before nekkidity was introduced and we are up over 8200 now. That is a gain of 1600 hits in under one day.

As it happens, Madame Wormer could judge for herself in such a situation. Plus, I imagine that frat boys hanging around the produce probably would get run off pretty quickly

I sent my son and wife to Grand Case Beach Club for their honeymoon present and they "found" Orient Beach on their own. My daughter-in-law thought she would treat my son to a massage and the arrangements were made at Orient and my son got ready and my daughter-in-law was about to leave when in walked the masseuse- a Swedish Goddess I was told- who was naked. My son never got the rub down at least at Orient anyway.

One can only imagine THAT conversation:
Gasp, gasp, gasp! You put your clothes on! And you too!
We're out of here....

BdR: Made ya look! Man, the hit count on this thread is going through the roof!
As to St Martin, I originally was interested in La Samanna but was scared away by uneven reports. Were I to spend a couple or three nights on French St Martin, what places would everyone recommend? La Samanna, Green Cay, Le Meridien?
Merci

IV - If I was spending three nights in SXM, the French side, I would definitely stay at Grand Case Beach Club. Excellent stretch of beach, lovely accommodation, you can walk to Grand Case either by road or beach and have your pick of restaurants. A short cab ride to Marigot for shopping and lunch. And my favourite restaurant for dinner in Marigot - Vie en Rose !
