Yes, Lisa is on the horizon but not expected to do much, thanks to the influence of Karl, but there is *another* tropical disturbance coming from Africa, which is expected to become another storm. And so it goes.
With all the named hurricanes this season, I am proposing a revision in the practice of giving these storms warm and cuddly names. My list for 2005 is below, hurricane names with attitude, and I invite comment and revision (I also recommend that hurricane names all end with an exclamation point, if they earn one):
Arrgh
Buster
Creep
Doh
Egad
Fudge
G-ddamit
Hammer
Icky
Jeez
Kickbutt
Lousy
Mofo
Notagain
Omigod
Petesake
Quitit
Readmylips
Stopit
Timeout
Ugly
Vile
Whatever

Given the intensity he brings to some of the threads here, I respectfully suggest "Miker!"

LOL..oh heck, even though I truly feel what I am writing about in here, I'm just pushing buttons, stirring the pot, and soliciting thoughtful debate......and if you could hear how I would verbally say what I'm posting...the actual tone and inflections....you would be very surprised to see how laid back I really am.......just ask anyone in here who has met me.....but I appreciate the suggestion none the less....ironically when we were heading down to SBH for our honeymooon a few years ago there was a hurricane lurking and actually doing a loop de loop back towards the island like Jeanne is doing now...and it was appropriatley named Michele....go figure....

That's why I enjoy your posts so much...especially when I can tell you're just pushing buttons and tryng to get a rise out of the populace.

Since my wife's name is Lisa, I can assure you that if that hurricane does as much damage to the caribbean as MY Lisa can do to the Nordstrom's card....there's trouble brewing!
