Let's hope Jamaica is more fortunate than Grenada. I've been to Grenada and when I saw the photos on the news last night, it was heartbreaking.

Ah - someone else who is familiar with Jack Iron. I love it when the ice in your glass sinks to the bottom...

I'll have to ask Roger about that ! I was hooked on the rhum punches in Grenada. With the exception of the rhum punches served at Salt Whistle Bay in Mayreau (the best !), Grenada comes a close second....

I know what you mean, Mike R ! Rhum punches were never my cup of tea. Too sweet and fruity. But the rhum punches in Grenada and Mayreau were not sweet, not too fruity and loaded with rhum. As for your recipe, think I'll give it a miss. I can't even handle ti punch. Oh, wait a minute. I've been known to "sip" four of those away. Does that mean I can handle ti punch ?

if you've "sipped" 4 ti piunches, then hell yeah you can handle ti punches.....but Jack Iron makes Select ti punch look like decaffeinated herbal tea.......give it a try.....you may like it....and if you dont..throw it in your cars gas tank....it will run fine on it...LOL

Hmmmm.. If we ever meet in St. Barts, you can mix me one and I'll give it a try. You may not be able to get that particular brand of rhum, but I'm sure you could improvise. Deal ?

deal..although sadly Im out of Jack Iron....my mother who was in Granada this past spring refused to buy it for me ( "you re too damn irresponsible with it" ) was her reason ( shrug ) and my buddy who went there yearly has passed away ( not from the Jack Iron...LOL)...he went into one of my shops grand openings, was the first to buy something, knowing I would frame the bill, and used Granadian money to pay for it, which I still have framed and posted ) ...but if we meet up on the island I will whip you up something that is at least close to it....Ill just need to find some high test gasoline and we will be good to go...LOL
