Mes amis,
JEK and I are pleased to announce our next photo contest starting September 1st, one week from today. Check your shots for your best landscape or seascape to enter the event. Dinner for two at Andy's will be the grand prize for the next competition which will have a format similar to the June contest. Judging will be by popular vote of forum members.
You show us yours, and I'd show you mine - except I'm ineligible!

I plan on being back in the USA just in time for the kick-off of the contest. As I remember, you will be heading off to new heights of pedaling glory in Europe about the same time.

When do the photos need to be in by ?? If I play my cards right I could be on the island, win the contest and get the free dinner all in the same trip !!

Martin,
You're going to have to hurry to St. Barth if you don't already have your photos for the September contest. All photos must be posted between September 1st and 7th. Voting will begin on September 8th. The last time I was in there, mon ami, Andy was still accepting cash. :-)

Andy,
Combination landscape/seascape photos will definitely be accepted. Underwater shots will not be accepted.
A Philadelphia lawyer accepting cash? I don't know about that, mon ami. :-)

When are we going to have our photo contest for shots featuring goats? Or ice lattes?

We already had a flora and fauna contest this spring, but I'm sure we'll have another. As for a food and drink photo contest, hang on to your pixels as that subject is on our list of upcoming events.

Right. And didn't Missy have some great goat shots from Columbier?
I actually think that contest would be entertaining -- everybody's pictures of goats. Strange, but entertaining.
