hey all, i went diving today with plongee carib., out to ile de coco then les petite sainte, good diving hit the caves at ile de coco, saw a nice shark at petite sainte, picked up the family at the villa, went to sante fe for a late lunch, he is closing soon to go home to visit his mother for 2 weeks then back to spruce up the rest. for the new season, very good! Hit the shoppes in gustavia, volcom stone a favorite with my kids, owned by the people who own totem in the old shangrila store, dedicated to all volcom products very cool clothes, then to bananna moon, quicksilver, l'petite deuville for gelati, chopard, black swan, m'bolo then over to st. jean to luneti(sunglasses for austin)the toy store next to andys, cargo i love that store!! then over to sweedish design studio to pick up a ring i had ordered last time i was here, ended up buying 2,both for me but i made nina pay so i can say she brought them for me!!! This is a great and i emphasis great place, extremely unique pieces by some very creative designers, plus the owners are so nice such positive vibrant energy, they are also selling a new book on gustavia, released today , filled with history, architecture and great pictures, stop by and check it out 45E.
went back to baleine cooked dinner for the boys as nthey wanted to watch wrestling on tv tonight and me and nina decided to pick a more adult place for dinner, we went to l'isola. The vibe was very intimate candels, gone the smoke and techno beat, i was told that they were booked but if we would leave at 9:30 they would feed up(it was 8:00pm i said sure, we were seated drinks we brought right away, we ordered risotto i had de mare and nina had scampi and asparagus, it came within 15 to 20 minutes, warm crusty bread was offered before and several of the wait staff stopped to ask us for anything, the food was incredible fresh, risotto cooked just the way i like it slightly a dente and not chocking in cheese, and the portions were great(sorry tim im sure your exp. is acurate but so is ours, i would have to credit yours to opening jitters) this is going to be a place to watch, no dessert as we were full, and 2 shots on limoncello were produced before we left total 58 Euro, good day in paradise. tomorrow saline!!

Erik,
Thank you for the report. I'm glad you had a better experience at L'Isola. Give Rosita a kiss from me.
