What's open in August? new
      #137627 - 07/24/08 06:45 PM

We're coming in August (18-25) for our honeymoon and starting to think about restaurants. Does anyone know which good restaurants are or aren't open this time of year? Thanks!

slg,
Eden Rock will be open for lunch (Sand Bar) and dinner (Top of the Rock) as will Le Gaiac at Le Toiny hotel. Others may be spotty as that is the closing time for the season. I suggest you check when you are on the island for other top spots such as Maya's, Le Sapotiller and Le Tamarin. There will be plenty of great restos, so to to worry and happy honeymoon!

SLG,

You might also want to start tracking the "St. Barth News." It's also available daily at many on island shops.

There won't be any sunset drinks at the Carl Gustaf for awhile.

we were on the island july 19- aug.2 we ate at Sante Fe,Trois Forces,La Langouste and PaCri and had great meals in addition to the names already mentioned....
all were open last week and should be open ......
for a great "cheap" sunset...go to the parking lot of the Carl Gustaf (across the road from the construction...bring a cooler ...champaigne, pate etc. and enjoy the FREE sunset.....

Well, aren't you a clever one. Phil and I both agree this is a very cool idea.
