Sounds like you remembered to bring the camera. Point 1 taken care of. JEK just filled in the blanks on Point number 2. Now it's up to you.
LOL and wishing the best of treks,
Voosh

Yeah, brought a camera, but can I get the pics on here? Let's see. If this works, it will be a picture of Marechal Beach.

Okay, that didn't work. What did I do wrong, other than having to type in the URL manually. I know there's another way to do that, but what did I leave out to get it to post the picture. Can the rest of you click on the URL and see the picture?

Thanks for the reply. Now I'm going to see if I can get one to actually post. If it works, this will be the "steps" going from the beach up to the Guanahani.
I just edited and added a [/image] after the .jpg! Magic!
How was ER?

Dick,
You were incredibly close to proper execution with your photo. Click on "Image," copy your URL ending in "jpg," and that should do it. I can't believe you abandoned us for dinner at Eden Rock! Mon ami, where are your priorities? :-)

I'm going to try again. It's a new day.
What I found there is a set of steps in disrepair leading down from Guanahani to the beach that is called Marechal. It's a thin strip of sand that right now has lots of seaweed type material on it. It runs east to where it intersects the much larger beach at Guanahani. The two beaches are separated by a fenced in area with lots of palms and some structures that are inaccessible from Marechal. On the west end of Marechal are the runs of what looks like was once a dock that was accessed above by some more rock and concrete steps. If I can post them, here are four pics that show this.
Looking east from the west end of Marechal:

Dick,
Congratulations on conquering the photo technology, and thanks for the report.
