Have just booked with Terrance Rey a flight from San Juan to St Barts thereby avoiding the chaos of SXM and Winair. We have a charter that leaves on our schedule (I like that a lot) and is reasonably priced when compared to a 10 minute Winair flight. Would have liked to look at Tradewinds but they don't start flying until the end of October and we are leaving a few days before then.
AirSXM looks like a good alternative to me, at least so far.

We used Terrence's airport "handholding" service when we had both a tight connection and a checked bag. They were great to deal with and much more reasonable priced than others.

Yes, please do send a report! Also, can you tell us how the price compares to Tradewinds, i.e. what is charged for the roundtrip charter? Almost anything is worth skipping SXM, IMHO!
