Mon ami,

Now that I've studied the shot a little closer, I can tell it's not up to your usual standards. :-)

LOL..thanks for the morning chuckle...too funny..I swear there isnt room for one more boat in the harbor or car on the street here....and now I must go face the masses ( we are sold out all day with a wait list ) and take them fishing...tonight a private party on the boat....50 pounds of lobsters, 50 pounds of clams and oysters....a keg of Heineken and secret stash of Carib and vanilla rhum for the few .....

enjoy the day

business kept us both in NYC til about 3:30....rush hour ain't the word...then the ferry lost an engine on the way over....but I was at the beach @ 7AM with a tennis ball and 2 cooperative dogs, the family's here and all still sleeping, and all's well with the world.
Happy 4th to you all...

I was off in search of Carib yesterday to no avail. Hit or miss (mostly) miss in the DC area. Oh well, have to make do with Stella :-)

Staying at home, but just put up the flag in the holder and my dog is looking for a ball toss too. Have a good one Fred!

And a very Happy 4th to everyone here! Unfortunately, I'm working too Mike! Some of us have to supply the entertainment for others. Glad to hear you're busy up there.

It's a glorious 4th in CT--road race, outdoor antique show, taking the kids for a ride in a red MG-TC, picnic in the park and fireworks to finish it off---celebrating all the freedoms our wonderful country has given us. And to remember, with gratitude, those who have chosen to serve in the military so that we may enjoy such liberty. It's a day to reflect on the positive things in our lives---putting aside, at least for a day, the gloom and pessimism that come at us from all sides.

Hope you all have a day that's special to you (even if, like MikeR & Diane, you are helping others). July 4, 2008----a great day in the USA.
