Because Carib is my daily beer in Ontario-available everywhere, and Landshark is not imported -in fact,I have never even seen a bottle. So I wanted some for the show .But you're right , it just tastes like corona

heck they may even postpone the show at this rate
The venue states that all shows are Rain or Shine. This wouldn't be a bad time to rethink that policy...

I just got an e-mail from a friend at tonight's concert. Word is that the Saturday concert start time is being moved up to 3PM in order to get the show in before the storm.
Confirmation from Margaritaville.com:
September 6th Start Time Changed to 3pm for Tweeter Center show in Mansfield, MA
Trying to reason with hurricane season.... Due to the weather expected from Hurricane Hanna that is approaching New England, Saturday's show will start at 3:00pm instead of 8:00pm.

great show!......the early time prevented us from doing the all day tailgating but we got there in time to have a burger and a beer with KevinS and Kate and LLoyd and Pat and Ralph and Tina..great song list..really loved him doin Come Monday alone with a guitar and making it a sing along with the crowd....nice touch...and of course ending the show with Tryin To Reason With Hurricane Season was a smart move.....he showed a 2 minute video of Carnival in St Barts...I'm pretty sure I saw JEK in it...Andy Hideaway was for sure
in it.....great day....but now I have 25 pounds of clams, 20 pounds of lobsters, corn and potatoes to cook that was supposed to be cooked at the tailgate which will now be cooked for the post Buffett meal instead...kind of weird being home so early from a Buffett show.....
loved all the F**k Hanna....and Blow Me Hanna posters up ....nothing like parrotheads...NOTHING STOPS THEM FROM HAVING FUN

Tonight was the "real" Cape get-together, with people that had previously only met in P-town, as well as a few new friends. A good time was had by all. We started the concert with a little tailgating with Lloyd and Pat and their friends Ralph and Tina, and were joined later by Mike and Wendy and their friends Chip and Michelle. Ralph and Tina are well practiced at tailgating, and have it down to a science. Here's a group photo. Seated, L to R, Ralph, Pat, and Kate

Mike and Wendy and their friends may have stayed dry in their seats. Up where we were, those that didn't bring foul weather gear participated in the world's largest wet t-shirt contest. The first deluge came at 3:35. After that intermittent showers continued through the end of the concert.
The "usual" songs were played, along with a few that haven't been heard in concert for awhile - The Weather Is Here - Wish You Were Beautiful, God’s Own Drunk, and Stars on the Water.

Mike...you were right about Providence......slept in after Buffett Thurs. night so we WALKED the entire town...Great dinner at Napa Valley Grill tho'....Buffett rocked on Thurs......Got an autograph on a picture of Kathie & me toasting a glass of champagne at Autour, and a handshake and a "good to see you again"..made my night. We didn't tailgate, partied after...I was worried that you guys would get rained out, but we left PVD around 12:30 and it didn't seem too bad then. Would have liked to have tipped a Carib with you guys...next time...now getting ready for IKE...Ron

Kevin Great shots !! Just home after a 10 days on the US east coast ( fabulous,in spite of Hanna yesterday !! -here in Ottawa it is pouring, and has been for 2 days- still playing "Gustav-catch-up" this far north) Buffett was great, but even with rain gear- Boy,was it wet !!! In the pile of mail waiting for us on our return was Peter Mayer's latest -"Still in One Peace", which he promised to send after we saw him play, and chatted with him ,at a pool party north of Toronto 3 weeks ago.And a little note saying to please send $15.00 to "Little Flock Music",and the address. What an unassuming way for one of the best contemporary jazz/rock guitarists to respond to fans ! If you have never listened to any of Peter's stuff- do -each member of the "Coral Reefers" is a wonderful musician in his /her own right, and Peter is our fave Whale pix tomorrow Mike- too tired (and still too wet-LOL)to download anything now !

Mike What was waiting for us in the mail was a copy of Peter Mayer's latest CD "Still in One Peace", which he sent us after the private concert he gave last month. What I found really neat was that he simply mailed them out to those of us who left him our addresses, with a note simply saying to send the money to "Little Flock" (his publishing co) How wonderfully trusting ,and old-fashioned is that ??? Check out his website-he is an amazingly talented and down-to-earth,long-time member of the Coral Reefers
