Has anyone stayed here and would you suggest staying in this area?

i have not stayed in that particular villa, but have stayed at villa les brisants, also in anse de cayes. the area is extremely quiet. it's fairly close to st. jean and gustavia and the roads are not as scary to navigate in the evening after having wine with dinner. our villa was just above the water, so we heard the waves crashing and had a nice, pretty consistent, breeze and we were there in august!
hope this helps!

This area has one of the more local feels to it with several old school restaurants and the Manapanny hotel, which is falling into disrepair. The beach is not very swimable due to rocks, but it is very picturesque with great vistas of other parts of the island.
