Hi - Wow a lot of St Barts information. We are planning a trip for September two couples. I am having a hard time figuring out what villas are actually accessible by foot (short walk) to the beach.
Many of the villas "view pictures" look like there may be some pretty big cliffs between the villa and a nice sunset walk on the beach. Many say oceanfront but I am not sure if this means, "walk to the beach".
Any experienced tips, or advice on a nice 2 bedroom with beach access.
Never been to St Barts looks like I have been missing out.

Wimco, St. Barts Properties and other online rentals almost always tell you if the property in on the beach by its description and if not how long it takes to get to the beach by walking. St. Jean, Flamands, Lorient, Anse des Cayes are the beaches with villas on them so you can start from there.

I think if you limit your choices to villas in L'Orient, St Jean and Flamands you will have good luck finding one near to the beach...once you get a villa name in mind, shoot it out here and someone will be able to tell you exactly how far to the beach, if it already doesnt say it in the spec sheet

Oh- and don't just look for 2 bedrooms- many 3,4 and 5 bedroom villas rent out for 2 bedrooms too. For instance this one Playa Dorada- Playa Dorada which is on St. Jean beach.

Try SIB CEO, I think it can be rented as a 2BR 25 steps to the beach, 25 steps to Andy's Hideaway!

Not to put a damper on a vacation to St. Barts...BUT....you do know that almost everything is closed during September...shops and restaurants... you won't starve and I'm sure you can find something to buy, but VERY FEW options. Maybe all you need is sun and a place to stay..if so, then you'll be alright....just cross your fingers there isn't a hurricane in the area ;-)
