You've seen the info above. Bottom line - Why carry your best "sips" on the "unfriendly" airways?

If you still want to ship, as mentioned, check with FedEx (no, not the stores) about packing, customs declarations and delivery. Make arrangements with whoever is handling your villa/hotel and ship to them a few days before leaving. Travelling with bottles is always dicey unless you are experienced at packing "goods" in your checked-in luggage (carry on is not an option.)

Not to put a cork on things (pun intended,) save the special stuff for special times at home. Lots of great "bubbly" on the isle.
