well it was the last day of the 07/08 season......and what a classic one it was......here are pictures of my day and these conditions are virtually unprecedented for this late in the season...some of you have PM'd me about coming out next winter to ski so I thought I would put together a little portfolio of the mountain.......
here is the very top..as you can see...not very intimidating at all
a little steeper stuff off the backside....the drop offs to the left and straight ahead are fairly steep albeit short
the village...where my shops are....thats an indoor skating rink to the left and a frozen pond just next to and beyond....my condos are all just off the picture to the right as is the golf course
a video..........

Nice to see that blue sky and the rime at the top. Surprised to see it so late in the season. I remember putting my daughter into Skiwee there when she was four.

the only reason we had so much rime this late in the season is we had a tremendous amount of thick fog for a few days right before ..then it got colder and windless
its been a long time since the kids school here was called skiwee....that had to be more than a few years ago

Such anguish.......
I was checking out the webcams Wednesday, it snowed 13 inches in Woolf Creek and about 4 -5 inches in Flagstaff and Sunrise over in the white mountains.

terrific place.....the mountain is only marginally challenging.....but there is plenty near by to challenge you..... I spent a lot of time there, while living in Colorado as one of my closest friends is heavily involved in the Luge/Bobsled training facility in PC (she has since been transferred to Lake Placid) which by the way is open to the general public at times ......you wanna feel a genuine adrenalin rush like no other....do that!....it was an incredible experience for me to get a taste of it.....
anyway as you get closer to your trip shoot me a message and I will tell you all the great eateries and drinkeries to indulge in....Main Street is a real throw back....much like Breckenridge Main Street

If I were going to Utah and I didn't care too much about nightlife, I'd choose Snowbird or Alta in Little Cottonwood Canyon. You can ski from one to the other on a single ticket. Best snow and terrain IMHO. But Park City has a lot more of the nightlife (for Utah, that is). There is also a pretty good bowl there if you want steep and wide terrain. It's also possible to drive to the other Salt Lake areas for a day if you want. Near Park City is Park West (is it Canyons now?) and Deer Valley.
