There is another side to this the exchange rate, and apparently shopping is good in Aux Etats Unis using this buying service.

There is nothing bad about a strong euro. Indeed, it should become official monetary policy

It's only good for you in SBH- you obviously don't have any imported goods to buy in South Carolina nor do you vacation in other euro countries.

Andy: My euros would be good in any euro-country.
As to buying imports, we are not into consumerism in a big way. So that isn't much of a player for us.

Plus, with our euros, we can buy Cheap American Goods for even cheaper.

Doesn't BMW have a big plant down there??

Yes indeed they do. So we can buy overseas cars we produce right here or local cars produced in detroit.
Is this a trick question?

Yes.
I bought my share as a hedge. A hedge against inflation on the island and as a hedge against a weakening dollar. I have to admit that I made the purchase as a cold, calculated, unemotional investment after running a LOT of numbers - and soliciting the advice of brilliant men whose names I closely guard. Since that time, I have actually fallen in love with Eden Rock, which does not hurt my feelings.

nah, just a response to Andy's provincialism and Philly-centric world view. You got imported stuff to buy, even in the boonies.

And IV's response was:
" As to buying imports, we are not into consumerism in a big way. So that isn't much of a player for us."
Maybe you should read the response before you stick your New York nose in.

In history books and the vanishing mists of fading memories of sentimental men...
It predates the Civil War as settlement of a border dispute between Penn, Delaware, Maryland and present-day West Virginia (then part of Virginia).

You are so right...most people, unable to Google, believe it is the border of MD and VA. By the way, my last full size Chevy Pick Up was built in Canada. Now, back to the Euro/dollar wars!
