In London, after seeing an umpteenth revival of Noel Coward’s “Private Lives” (I first saw it in New York in 1983 with Elizabeth Taylor & Richard Burton — fittingly, shortly after one of their divorces), Wendy & I had dinner at “The Ivy,” across from the Ambassadors Theatre. It surpassed the Savoy Grill’s version! A beautiful last evening to our belated-birthday celebratory trip.
