After the fashion Show we drove to Public and our dining destination MAYA'S!

Our band of brothers and sisters had these 4 terrific starters
Mache Salad of greens and cepes, mushrooms.
Sliced ripe figs and fresh mozzarella
Avocado soup with crab
And a warmed yet firm goat cheese salad

Main courses were this tender rack of lamb

Grilled Diver Sea scallops
3-P1010739.jpg

A small whole lightly seasoned chicken split and roasted, roti style.
4-P1010740.jpg

A grilled shrimp brochette with light olive oil and a side of white rice
5-P1010741.jpg

And fresh caught mahi mahi

Every plate went back sparkling clean plus or minus a few bones and shrimp tails. All of us agreed, Mayas's delicious preparations are so tasty

The dessert favorite we enjoyed was Maya's deservedly famous chocolate cake

Great looking dinner plates! It's been about ten years; I may have to try Maya's again.

The chicken looks best to us. After several years of disappointment, Maya's has returned to our 'fav' list. The service has been excellent and the food is as good as any other of the establishments on the island, except for Santa Fe, which is in a class by itself.
