Me no understand.

I have a 4S phone, so my understanding is that ios8 is not for that old of a model. What about a MacBook pro from a couple years ago, does ios8 work on that?

iOS is only for iDevices. You can get all that photo editing in iPhoto or many other programs on your Mac.

As for compatibility on iPhones:
