Hi Everyone! Continuing on our week-long journey through photos...
Thursday we decided to hike to the natural pools in Grand Fond. The views were incredible and it felt like a private swimming pool! The hike is definitely not for the faint of heart but we loved it and found our way pretty easily despite the lack of signs.

We had dinner at Le Piment in St. Jean which had live music and a great local crowd.

Friday was spent at Gouverneur and even though there were a few sun showers, they passed quickly and cooled us down. We wanted to stop at Santa Fe for a drink after the beach but found they had closed at 2. We decided to go back for our last dinner on the island and we were not disappointed. Sante Fe became my new favorite for dinner - definitely more of a splurge but we were one of two groups eating out on the balcony and the food was phenomenal. My husband had the "seafood casserole" which was really a bouillabaisse and I had sea scallops in a light pastry crust which were both amazing. We couldn't resist the "warm chocolate running cake" which came with vanilla ice cream for dessert. The complimentary whiskey cakes and vanilla rum didn't hurt either
Next trip we definitely hope to stop in for lunch to really enjoy the incredible view.

Saturday we managed to make it to Saline for one last swim before a long day of flights. I got to cross a very big thing off my bucket list too - flying in the copilot seat on our SBC flight! Seeing the pilot "at work" during the flight was slightly disconcerting but we made it safe and sound. We hope to return to our favorite island soon and wish you all safe travels in the meantime!
