Hi Everyone! Continuing on our week-long journey through photos...

Thursday we decided to hike to the natural pools in Grand Fond. The views were incredible and it felt like a private swimming pool! The hike is definitely not for the faint of heart but we loved it and found our way pretty easily despite the lack of signs.

We had dinner at Le Piment in St. Jean which had live music and a great local crowd.

Friday was spent at Gouverneur and even though there were a few sun showers, they passed quickly and cooled us down. We wanted to stop at Santa Fe for a drink after the beach but found they had closed at 2. We decided to go back for our last dinner on the island and we were not disappointed. Sante Fe became my new favorite for dinner - definitely more of a splurge but we were one of two groups eating out on the balcony and the food was phenomenal. My husband had the "seafood casserole" which was really a bouillabaisse and I had sea scallops in a light pastry crust which were both amazing. We couldn't resist the "warm chocolate running cake" which came with vanilla ice cream for dessert. The complimentary whiskey cakes and vanilla rum didn't hurt either :) Next trip we definitely hope to stop in for lunch to really enjoy the incredible view.

Saturday we managed to make it to Saline for one last swim before a long day of flights. I got to cross a very big thing off my bucket list too - flying in the copilot seat on our SBC flight! Seeing the pilot "at work" during the flight was slightly disconcerting but we made it safe and sound. We hope to return to our favorite island soon and wish you all safe travels in the meantime!

Fabulous report. Thanks for posting. Your smiling faces are the perfect advertisement of the St. Barth experience.

What an amazing trip and beautiful photos. We stayed at Royal Palm our last trip (LOVED IT!!) and have always been curious about Enfin. I had the first time rush of the copilot seat on the way home last year. What a thrill that is and I am vying for the spot again this time coming in. Love the happy smiles and the photos give me hope that in the midst of some rain there are lovely days and weather to be found. Some fun ideas too of things we can enjoy without our kids and their stuff. We can bring some of ours.. :D Packing the snorkle gear already. (and yes we too are determined to get it in the carryon)...might skip the fins though.

Fun reading your posts and seeing your photos. Thanks for sharing your trip with us. You guys make a picture perfect St Bart couple..

We couldn't stop talking about the broth! And luckily Santa Fe is one of the few restaurants that gives you endless bread to sop it all up :)
