Drinks at Gustaf; and Wall House dinner June 5

We had a hard decision about where to go for our one big night out. After reading all of the input here, we made the right choice with Wall House.
We started the evening with a sunset cocktail at the Gustaf (had never been before). Then a quick drive to Wall House.

Bernard & Julian were so welcoming, food and wine were delicious, staff was lovely, great with the kids, location/weather were fab, etc.


Ceviche, tataki, and gnocchi to start; followed by 2 orders of steak for 2 with the frites and delicious sauces (forgot to take photos, we were so focused on eating the food).


All in all a perfect evening and a great end to the vacation!

Good choices. With all the rain and clouds at night we never made it to the Guse. Glad you enjoyed your last night out on the town.

We went last night. Strip Steak and Frites for me and Duck for my wife. We started with the Tuna Tataki. It was amazing as it always is at Wall House.

WH really has fabulous duck...one time for lunch we had a duck and mashed potato concoction that was to die for.

I not only love the food and owners, but the location. We particularly enjoy grabbing a table for two outside on the water's edge for before AND after dinner drinks. It's a first class operation
