My husband and I would like to visit St. Barts toward the end of April. We are well traveled and adventurous, but it is our first time to the island. Do you think we should save a little money and stay at Normandie (it looks quite nice) or rent a villa (I would like to stay around 2500 USD).
The things that are important to us are: (1) someplace with a pool (2) someplace to park a car (3) I know the island is small, but I would like to be quite close to great restaurants and beaches. (4) I love great food, but I don't eat A LOT. Some days I may just want a snack for lunch so it would be nice to have the option to buy snacks/drinks to take to the beach with us.
I know at this point we won't have a wide variety of villa accommodations to choose from, but any suggestions would be appreciated.
