Before joining Wimco, Galen spent over twelve years booking some of the most sought after venues for destination weddings in Newport, RI and New York. Whether it was 20 guests or 200 guests, every event planning detail from flowers to guestrooms was taken care of.

Many of her clients were high profile and came from companies such as: Town and Country, Ogilvy & Mather Advertising, Aveda, Peter Thomas Roth Skin Care, Tiffany & Co., Estee Lauder and Ralph Lauren.

Galen has planned corporate retreats and dinners for 10-750 guests. Along the way, she has acquired a keen understanding of what makes an event special - making the client's needs number one, persistent attention to detail coupled with creativity, and an insider's knowledge of available venues and resources.

Her corporate client base includes: Harvard Business School, Fidelity Investments, Pfizer, Barrett Public Relations, World Savings and Loan, Andersen Consulting, as well as many others.

A native New Yorker, Galen lives in Jamestown, Rhode Island. With Wimco, Galen focuses her creativity and effectiveness on planning unique occasions for her clients.
